If you're new to golf, then Cattail is a great place to learn. If you're an average golfer, then Cattail is a great place for golfing with your irons. I found the staff to be friendly, and the course itself is inexpensive when compared to The Old Course across the street. The majority of golfers at Cattail are friendly, and you don't have to deal rudeness and noses in the air like a lot of those golfers at the Old course who think they're better. Just my opinion based from experience.

This is a great course to learn the game on. Being so cheap ($11 regular, $7 after 6pm) you can golf all you want and make mistakes. The course has been maintained better in recent years and is now quite nice for a cheap par 3. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick, cheap round that will still be mildly challenging for experienced golfers.

Course is a good place to try to teach your kids to play, however the staff is extremely unfriendly and not managed well at all. Took my son out and was informed we couldn't get a tee time for 2 hours, however the entire time we hit balls at range instead not a single group was paged nor did a single group tee off on the first hole. Will teach my son the game of golf elsewhere
