Services at golf shop and restaurant are just fine. Very friendly and helpful. Burgers and beers are as good as anything else in the region.
Golf course is spectacular. And for the price is unbeatable in Northern Colorado. $46 for 18 is compared to $100-$150 at the other nearby courses which are roughly equivalent.
The Butte has lakes, ponds, creeks, the Big Thompson River, and marked changes in elevation involving tees and greens. Views of the front range of the Rockies and Devil's Backbone formation are unparalleled.
Fairways and greens are a bit rough early in the season due to a herd of about 300 elk which frequent the region. It's not unusual to have them either on, or right beside the course.
Golf course is in great shape. We had very good service in the Pub and the food was very good.Terrible service in the pro shop. Course is short but pretty. Don't eat there as the food is terrible and the service is rude. Skip it as it is a "muni".very nice course panoramic views
customer service both at the pro shop and restaurant very poor. they act like you are bothering them. the Loveland courses are the only courses I have ever seen that don't have senior rates and Fall rates don't start until NovBeautiful course, very bad attitude from staff.
You are treated to an attitude that "It is your privilege to golf here".
Too bad, it's a nice golf course, but the Marshall loves to pick on people and try to create controversy.
Even if you are moving right along, he will follow and look for opportunities to harass you or parties in front of you.
I've golfed fro 30 years and have never experienced anything like that.
We even took the time to politely detail our experience to the manager on duty in the pro shop. He sort of laughed and just blew it off!!
Not one person from our group or multiple others we spoke to will ever return.Fun golf course. Greens need attention. Customer service really needs attention..... What an attitude both on the phone and behind the desk!Beautiful course but dont. Expect a 4 hr round never played under 5 plus round and I've played many times slow at the turn if you want food and beverage. Expect to wait and thats just for a bratwurst and a beer little disappointing for such a nice clubhouse
I rate this course as a strong 5, not a 3.5
