Ute Creek at Spring Valley is situated at an elevation of 6400 feet amongst acres of rolling hills and towering cottonwoods. The land the golf course now occupies was formerly a cornfield. The design required the transportation of 625,000 cubic yards of dirt to fill in the terrain. The golf course is named after the creek that meanders through the entire layout and comes into play on four holes. There are also five lakes and two streams that come into play, most prominently on the back nine. The links-style layout features undulating fairways and greens that are heavily guarded by sand bunkers. Ute Creek at Spring Valley is open for public play and it also offers a driving range with putting and chipping greens.

Played Saturday, course was in fine shape, starter was very pleasant, but pace was poorly maintained. 5-10 minute wait on each hole. Refreshment cart came three times on front nine and was non-existent on the back nine when the heat was on. Hate to say it, but probably won't return. Like any other business it boils down to taking care of your customers.

I just played this course last Thursday, June 26th. The course is in great shape. The greens are a little weird but that's Longmont. Just know that you can't hit range balls between 10-12 because the junior golf kids have the range.

Terrible shape. Used to be a wonderful course. City of Longmont is letting it go.

Played twilight on 6.7.13, course was in great shape, no dead spots like most courses along the Front Range. Greens could be rolled and cut, as they were a little shaggy from being aerated recently. Great layout.

What I truly enjoy about this course is the back nine which gives you 3 par threes, 3 par fours and 3 par fives. I Love it : ) Usually most courses have 10 par fours, not Ute Creek they have only 8, so you can enjoy 5 par threes and 5 par fives... One of my favorite Colorado courses.... ENJOY : )

One of the bst courses in Colorado for the price! The only downside is the management that took over a few years ago has let the course slip a bit. You will get a few drunks on the course which is pretty common these days but well worth the price. EASY walking course will bring the price down even more.

Great course. Fun layout with good conditions. The 3 par 5s on the back 9 are a cool feature.

Big hitters course with wide fairways. Plenty of bunkers. Good track.
