The Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills are comprised of the 18-hole Gold Course, nine-hole Blue Course, and the North and South Courses, which are both par 3s. Hyland Hills is one of the greater Denver area's most popular golfing destinations. The South Course was the architectural vision of Greg Mastriona, Hyland Hills' executive director. It's longer than the North Par 3, with holes that range from 65 to 204 yards, which makes it slightly more challenging, but the golf course is still player friendly enough for all skill levels. The layout has a diverse mix of holes with the Sherwood Forest coming into play on the second and the Lake of Lochness on the third. There are strategically placed bunkers protecting the greens and you'll come across another water hazard on the tough final hole.

I played the 18 hole Gold course at Hyland Hills. The course was in good shape and had a few tough holes playing from the tips. Many of the holes allow for errant shots and can be somewhat forgiving. All in all the course was enjoyable to play and at $34 w/cart you really can't beat it.
