Some of the more negative reviews are laughable and have little to do with the course itself.

It’s a nice, well kept public course with a decent driving range. The pro shop and restaurant is a bit dated, but that’s perfectly fine because it’s priced accordingly. Glad to call this my home course.

This course is in great condition, prices are good, staff are attentive and professional ... I just had an overall great experience. The facilities are immaculate, including restrooms on the golf course ... they even have water buckets for your towels (hardly seen anymore)! It is one of the best values in the Denver Metro region. It was fun to play here!

The most rude male I have encountered at this course. Made a T-time and tried to check in and pay for my time and he refused to let me in or to open the window. Absolutely inexcusable for such action. We had to leave and we were looking forward to playing. I want to contact the head of this facility.

Today, 5/15 I purchased two tokens for the driving range at about noon. As I collected my balls and walked to the range I could hear a couple behind me heading in the same direction as I. I went to the far right side of the range because this couple was going left and I wanted to hit and practice in the quite. I was as the second spot from the right as you approach the driving range. One gentleman was to my right hitting. Within 15 minutes an employee pulls up about 15 feet from me and begins a conversation with the golfer hitting next to me on the range. They continued to talk for the next 15 minutes and it was clear based on the conversation they both worked on the course. One working now and one getting ready to go to work at 1230. Soon a third employee pulled up in another golf cart and the conversation continued. I stopped hitting and waited 10 minutes for all three parties to leave the range. I am amazed that three employees would have a loud conversation when a paying customer is trying to hit balls. More amazed they work at the course and continued to talk on the driving range and laugh about work related things. Can you please encourage you staff to not come out to the driving range to have a conversation when others are paying to practice. Very disappointing.

Sadly I moved away from here in the early 80!s. Loved this course. Worked at night Dixon Paper co. and played golf at least 3 times a week with Pinky Onstot,Harold Jones, Ken cosgrove add Ray Thomas. I am sure 3 of them have passed away, they loved this place also.Once in a while played with Pete the resturant manager. God I miss this place.

This course is always in great condition. I have been playing A-Hills for 48 years. I started in 1968.
The staff is always professional, and the course condition is as good as any in the Denver/Metro area.
Everyone says it is an easy course, so why are there not more scratch golfers coming out of
    A-Hills golf course?
Great course at a great price.

Course is in good shape most of the time; especially like the speed of the greens.
Pace of play is ok but can be slow even during the week because of the amount of 65+ year olds that frequent the course.
Worst part is the grounds crew is never done mowing until late morning. My most recent round there, we teed off at around 9am. We had mowers on the tee boxes and in the rough adjacent to the fairways constantly for holes 2 through 8. They even ran over the golf balls of two members of our group. It's very distracting and ridiculous at best. Thank god this was my one and only round at A. Hills this year.

A fun course for the price. Greens are consistent and kept in very good condition for a heavily played public course.

An enjoyable course to play. Its pretty wide open so not much to worry about if you spray the ball around. Good course for a novice to play.

Staff is the best around. Course, especially the greens, are in MUCH better shape than Meadow Hills and the course is $8 - $10 cheaper. GREAT course for walking and the pace of play is usually very good!! Also, GREAT staff in The Tin Cup and very good food & drinks!!

Aurora Hills is an outstanding public golf course. Its one of the very few courses that is maintained well. It ranks up there with Murphy and Saddle Rock but with a better price. Also, the employees are polite, attentive and very helpful. Don't miss our on this jewel of a course.
