Thorncreek Golf Club is a links-style layout with a street bisecting the front and back nines. Although the street may seem like a distraction, it hasn't prevented this popular golf course from being considered one of the best in the state. It has been host to both the Nike Tour and the US Open qualifying events. The golf course features undulating greens that are well guarded by bunkers. The rolling terrain and water hazards demand accuracy. Golfers are quickly introduced to the course's challenges with the first three holes where lakes come into play. The signature hole at Thorncreek Golf Club is the par-4 finishing hole, which features a fairway flanked by a treacherous water hazard.

Played there for the first time May 22 2016. Wow! The course was in great shape, rough was lush and thick, greens immaculate and fast, fairways in great shape. Plenty of challenge but great layout and interesting holes. Several in our group walked with no problem, but there is a bit of distance bewtween several of the holes. They told us in the clubhouse the course is undergoing a major renovation later this year, so if you've not played here before you should try to this summer since its in such great shape.

Not only is the course in horrible condition but when did this course become so ghetto. The club allows people to wear basketball shorts and gym t-shirt...literally!
