Trash greens. Service at the clubhouse was non-existent. Bar tender was the cook as well. No chance to get either a drink or food. Management has failed the staff. 14 mins waiting for a drink was only eclipsed by the father -son that waited longer to get a hot dog. Please plow this course under & build homes in it's place.

Played this course 3 times. Front 9 is fun but the back is a JOKE! OB on every hole some both sides. Must know your driving distance every time or you go OB. The layout stinks. Yes it is long, but very few bailout/safe shots. It is long but I would rather play just about any other course in Colorado Springs then this one again. Bad design, slow play, weak greens(very different putting surfaces from hole to hole). FYI I am a 12 handicap and driving distance average 290yds.
Honestly the only draw is the length of this course. Play it once and you most likely not plat it again.

Overall, I enjoyed the course. But it's not walkable and the bunkers are in awful condition.

Played May 2014. Played the brown tees and my handicap is 12. Front nine was a challenge with some bail out points. To many traps and NO TREES.
Back nine stinks. If your not exact or know your distance OB and houses come into play. I found the back just stupid as far as OB's and the narrow fairways. my playing partners lost balls even from good hits.
Long is alright but the layout is bad and there is a lot of courses in Colorado Springs that have better greens and the layout that allows for every level of play.
I will not go back to this course. Price was about average.
(Every hole on the back nine has OB's and just a stupid layout!

This is a very difficult course, but has 6 sets of tees. The longest are over 8100 yards, and there are 4 par 5's each over 600. We didn't play from the back, but it still offered plenty of challenge. The staff was very nice! The breakfast burrito was great. The fairways and greens were very well taken care of. We played in the middle of a heat wave and there was a fire near Pikes Peak--on a clear day the views would have been superb!
