Pros: Cool layout, staff seems nice enough, food is good!

Cons: Sooo slow! No marshal on a weekend to make folks move along, group in front spent more time looking for balls in the rough than playing, cart GPS system is a burden, 5+ hour rounds every time we play there. Can’t go back unless something changes. $72 to sit around for 5+ hours is way too expensive!

Spend Your Money Else Where.......You've Been Warned!

Where do I start? Staff member quoted a price on a club and then would not honor it. Contacted the GM who assured me that he would call me back. It's been two months and no return call. One of my many friends that I have taken to KD bought a hat which he decided a few days later that he wanted another color. The hat was still in the original package, never worn and all he wanted was to exchange it. He was told no and that he would have to contact the GM. GOOD LUCK ! I've spent ALOT of money there and recently played in a scramble event. Once arrived I checked in and walked into the lounge and grabbed a cup and started pouring some water that was set up on the counter, when a young lady asked me if I was part of the morning event, I explained that I was not but was playing in the afternoon event which was soon to start. With a scowl on her face she told me; "that is not for you, its only for the morning event". Are you kidding me, a cup of water?? As you can see by these examples they just don't care about satisfying customers, especially a very loyal customer. They need a wake up call and ALOT of training. My thought is that it starts at the top. Another thought to ponder; there will be a time when you'll need my money and this is the first time I've ever posted a negative statement on line so ask yourself, How many others say nothing and never return? WAKE UP!

I've played the course 4 times this year and really enjoyed the play. The greens and fairways are in very good condition, with a few tee boxes a little sad. It is a challenging course for the average golfer with a lot a of natural vegetation to navigate. The minimal staff are friendly but there is no starter, marshall or refreshment cart that I have seen (weekdays). Plan accordingly. The course is on the Palmer Divide so weather can be a challenge but the views are great!

Played kings deer Monday August 17th. Was pleasantly surprised .course is in above average condition with good fairways and decent greens. Some bunkers could use some maintenance but overall and enjoyable round of golf. Will definitely go back and play it in the next couple of weeks

Course is in terrible condition. All greens are dead, Traps are the worst I have seen.
It looks like they are letting the course die so they don't have to spend any money

This course is on the way back from a near disaster of last season. Fairways are in great shape and greens roll good and true. Plenty of challenge for most any level golfer.

I don't get how the El Paso County public courses can be in this poor of condition, when all others around are quite nice. Weather is not the only reason, there's something more.

Did you know that with your full membership to Woodmoor pines Golf and Country Club you will have access to Kings Deer Golf Course?

I love playing both these courses.

If you have not been to Woodmoor Pines Golf and Country Club lately you don''t know what you are missing. The new management team has turned the place around and the pub is a welcoming place to have great food, a glass of wine or to meet friends for a Five Star dinner at a very reasonable price. We love the Sunday branches, heated swimming pool, and all other amenities that the place has to offer. Not to mention awesome low membership fees. I recommend Woodmoor Pines Golf and Country club to all my friends and family and about half a dozen of our fiends that belong to other country clubs join them and of course we were the gracious recipients of the generous referral money.

So if you want a million dollar country club membership without paying a million dollars, this is the place to go to.
