I LOVE this course. It is an old course that has been brought into the 21st century. Lots of slope on most greens and the mature trees make you hit every club in your bag most rounds. It is walker-friendly and was in good shape when I played it last summer (2021) and last week (June 2022). Hole #7 is one of the best par 4s in the city, IMHO. Hard to believe this is a municipal course.

Total state of disrepair and lack of improvements. Nothing has been put back into this course for years, and it shows in every respect.

Common Ground is basically four times the course for about the same fee, and the pro shop there is actually nice.

Condition of the course is the worst, unless you are playing after it rains an inch or two.

Save your money, go somewhere else. The other Denver courses are similar in condition and resources.

This is an Older Style course that has some great history...(do you know who Ben Hogan is?...) So you will be hitting on holes where the GREAT ONES of OLD frolicked around on.
The current condition of the course is excellent as of September of '11.
I enjoy playing here because, although the course is not long from the tips even, the holes are laid out in a sneaky challenging way. You will definitely have to play well here to score what you are accustomed to.
