Great layout, poor conditions
Layout of the course is great. Has huge potential if conditions were improved. Fairways were a combination of small patches of grass, dirt, and weeds. Greens were mediocre but needed to be mowed and it appears nobody fixes pitch marks.
Course condition NEEDS Improvement
Maintenance was present at time of play which made it difficult on a few holes, but the course in whole needs attention. Cart paths would benefit by being paved. Six of the greens were in pristine condition...while the others were patched and dis-colored. Beautiful location, staff was friendly, would have given 5 stars if course was in better shape.
Homes too close to course
I did not get to play entire course due to weather. Rain & lightning came in so we only played some of the front 9. I have written your company to see about a refund due to the rain out. I did not like playing the course because the homes are too close to the fairways.
Course needs maintenance
This course would be great if they would just take care of it. I don't think there was one spot of grass that wasnt surrounded by dirt. It needs to be maintained and taken care of and the course would be much more successful, but for now I am not impressed.
I had a good time
The staff was really friendly however the course condition was not very good the fairways often had major dirt areas and very spotty grass. the greens were alright. overall a course at minimum should be able to maitain the fairway to green ruff is ok to let it go.
disappointing conditions
This course was is desperate need of repair the fairways are a mix of dirt and dead grass the greens are inconsistent and often heavily damaged. But it is hard to complain with green fees with cart for 18 holes around $20.
Greens in great condition
Greens were in great condition when I played. The fairways were not so great. Lot of blind shots and slope in fairways tended to make the ball run off into high rough. Lost more golf balls than normal due to this. I would have tried a second round the same day since it was still early but they charge for green fee and cart again. No cart only for replay like most courses.
Course needs attention!
I've played this course a couple of years ago and it was in great condition and the views are fantastic. A great value and enjoyable experience. However, playing it this last time, while the staff was very friendly and accomodating, the fairways, roughs, and many of the greens were in very poor condition which did not make for an enjoyable time.
Great views, with good blend of easy to more difficult holes.
Had a great time at Glenn Eagle Golf Club. Beautiful views and the course was in pretty good shape. The greens were in excellent shape besides hole 15. Overall, I would definitely play there again and will recommend to my friends.
good course to play on if game play is maintained
needs to teach golf etiquette or enforce it alittle bit better. waiting for 25 minutes to tee off 1 hole is horrible. putting greens need to be fixed with all the divots that nobody fixes. makes it hard to putt when the ball bounces all over the green.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...Even if its $1.00
This is by far the worst course I have ever played. It looked like it was a nice course when Clinton was in office but they have not taken care of anything. I only paid $18 and I was beyond disappointed.
Early Season, a bit rough
This course has lots of potential, the back 9 has some fun and challenging holes while the front 9 is a bit more low key. We went out in late April but there has been very little moisture here and we are on drought restrictions so the course is in a bit of rough shape. Still a fun day out.
Great Early Season Value
Course was pretty typical early season conditions. Greens had been airiated and seeded so putting was a challenge. Overall course could use a lot of TLC but for $37 for 18 holes with a cart, it was a great value! I will go again. Doug
Great Value and Great Views
Course is still coming out of winter season, dry and hard, but starting to green up. Great views around the course and a great variety of holes. Great value for the money.
Good Condition - Great Play!
For winter conditions, the course is in better shape than others and always has great "Hot Deals". It's a fairly forgiving course which is why I like to play here.
Good value through golf now.
I would not pay full price to play this course as it has not been in good condition the two times I have played.
