Outstanding Golf Course! I prefer the Silver Course to Blue because of it's spectacular views. Course is shorter, but just as challenging. Greens are hard and fast and fairways are tight. Entire course is in fantastic condition! Fairways are plush and greens are fast and true. You'll need to be able to work the ball both left and right. Lots of "risk-reward" holes here. Ball travels a club father than at sea level. Best chance to score is #4. Short Par 5 you can reach in two to a green that slopes from back (mountain) to front.

This is an amazing Mountain Course, nestled on the Air Force Academy property. There are sloped fairways as the course plays against the mountains and the greens are fast and tricky! It's definitely a shot-makers course and will be a challenge. If you play with a regular, there are some 'short-cuts' to help lower your score.
There are no houses on the course and you'll only have a brief glimpse of a road on one hole. The wildlife is amazing, with an array of foxes, coyotes, wild turkey, and mule deer. You may even see the occasional black bear from time to time.
This course is a wonderful contrast to it's sister "Blue" course on the same property.
If you have an opportunity to play this course - Do it!!! Only catch is you have to be sponsored by a military, retired miltiary or DoD civilian.
But, it is definitely worth playing and you'll enjoy the beautiful challenge this course brings!
