Great layout. Lots of white trash golfers with a little bit of money. The vibe is not great.

This is by far my favorite course to play in the entire state of Colorado. it's exciting, fun and challenges me every time I play it.

One of the worst courses I've played in Colorado. The design is very nice and the community is spectacular BUT the fairways are mud and dirt and you play lift clean and place for the first 6 or 7 holes but you could play it the whole course. I would never pay full price to play here.

One of the best in Colorado, no kidding! Have played here for years, always outstanding. The recent course and landscaping improvements will dazzle your eyes. The clubhouse is a great place to end up!

I like the comment that it is run like a fraternity. Everytime I play there it seems like a bunch of drunk guys hanging out and golf gets in the way. I will take my money elsewhere. Can't wait for the new TPC course to open.

Played on 9/11/2016 and the course was in pretty good condition and of course a beautiful environment, but 3 hours for the front 9, most of the times 5 groups per hole and when we called the Pro-shop from the 2nd tee box the first response was 'the back 9 is better, completely ruined the VERY LONG day. The pro shop also mentioned that they would check whether they can find someone that could try to speed up the pace..... we or any other groups that called NEVER saw a golf course employee....

What we heard from regulars is that this course only cares about members and therefore this was for us the first and last time.

Play this course regularly. I see several comments about poor recent conditions.

Folks, PLGC has had 2 major floods across their grounds in the last 5 years, where the Poudre River inundated several beautiful fairways. I suggest that the staff has been a little busy because grass doesn't grow under muck.

Show me a golf course super who doesn't aeriate int he Spring, and I will show you very bad putting surfaces. Did you think they should plug/sand greens in February?

PLGC is installing another river bridge to aid cart flow, and improving the route to the Falls Course. I cannot tell you how many times I've walked the Falls Course (yes, walked those hills) and have commented to myself how the place looks better than my pampered yard. This being most of the growing season, but common sense tells me that my play in the winter cannot expect it.

This course costs money, but to suggest that someone wants a refund for goose droppings makes me laugh. I wonder what Ol' Tom Morris would think about that.

When we played the conditions were terrifying. Goose crap all over, tee boxes torn up from divots. And the greens were lacking. The staff was nice, but who cares once you tee off. Its not like they are going to come around to see how you are doing and if you need anything. Once we came back around we reported the conditions to the starter and checked on getting a refund for the back 9. Once we were told no we left for denver. I would rather play Sadle Rock, Murphy Creek, Kennedy or Appleridge in golden. WORST TIME EVER.

My friend said it best. Not a country club but a club in the country. Very expensive for daily play. Course is never in great condition. The city's courses have better greens at a fraction of the cost. Heck Ptarmigan even charges less. Yes you do need to be with a member however better bang for your buck. It is pretty course and could be great as the layout is awesome. Seems to be run like a fraternity not a golf club.

This course is managed so poorly that it is never a good experience... That's of course when it's even open. Between flooding, maintenance, tournaments and construction, you can almost never get on. When you do get on you are usually following several 5-somes or 6-somes making your round 5 hours + This management has no respect for the game. Save your money and go have a better experience anywhere else in N. Colorado.

This is the most beautiful golf course in all of Northern Colorado, if not the state. The layout is both challenging and picturesque. It has the most shoreline of any course in the world and is the only 27-hole track in all of Northern Colorado.

Just played the back nine, goose crap everywhere and the greens had just been aerated so they were in terrible shape. My biggest complaint is they charged full price for a course in half price condition. Never mentioned the poor conditions before we played.

We have played both Pelican Lakes and Pelican Falls (the 9-hole course), and to be honest we prefer Falls. It is a terrific course with immaculate conditions, wide fairways, lots of elevation changes, interesting challenges and finally an island green. This is our favorite in Colorado.
