Deer Creek Golf Club has a links-style layout that wanders through rolling hills covered with more than 40 acres of natural wetlands. The landscape was beautifully maintained and provides many natural challenges. The golf course features elevated greens guarded by numerous bunkers and there is also the occasional island green. Although eight of the holes run alongside C-470, well placed mounding prevents highway traffic from disturbing the round. There are many risk-reward opportunities on the golf course, but it demands accuracy and strategic play. Golfers are quickly introduced to Deer Creek Golf Club's challenges with the demanding third hole. This par 4 is a dogleg right with a forced carry beyond a pond and wetlands to the right.

This is a really nice golf course. The holes are all very different and the greens were in very good shape. I noticed a lot of reviews were negative because the place is supposedly bankrupt. I can't speak to that, but what does that have to do with the golf course.

For the price this is a 5* value.

This is a beautiful course that I recommend to everyone.

The staff is friendly and caring and they are always assisting with everything.

The front 9 is a great challenge testing out your ability to drive, chip and putt. The back 9 is flatter with a tour through a neighborhood. This is a great course for anyone up for a challenge.

The food here is also great and I have never had a bad dish served to me.

The course runs by a C470, however you can't really hear it. This course is ran by an awesome management company and this course will always be open! The GM is friendly and willing to work with everyone. I had a small issue with one of my coupons and she worked things out for me.
    Definetely a course to play!

The first couple of times I played this course, I thought it was very gimmicky. I have changed my mind. There is not one boring hole on the course and it challenges all of your skills. Two problems on my last trip--the cart died after 11 holes. We got pushed by the other cart the rest of the way. Second, after the round, we went to the clubhouse for a well deserved beverage. The bartender said they were OUT OF BEER. What bar is ever out of beer? Maybe they are going to go out of business. the course was in superb shape, however.

This course used to be far more difficult when it was semi-private and private, but the owner has cleared out some bunkers and mowed wider fairways to accommodate public play. That being said, it is still a challenging track with some of the tougher holes in the Denver metro area. Conditions are a little up and down sometimes, but in my opinion the design is one of the best in town. I play it often and have never gotten bored with the layout.

I am sorry to hear they are turning it into a nine hole course. I play it 5-10 times a year. Prices are incredible through Gol Now. The course is well maintained, extremely challenging with no gimmies, including the par 3's. To those looking for a very good golf experience , go play it before they go away, you won't regret it.

Looks like this golf course is being sold to a developer and all of the folks with homes and paid lot premiums to be on a golf course will soon be on a construction site.

i am baffled how this place is still in business with the unfriendly and condescending management, limited flight range and the difficulty of the course. save your money and play one of the municipals down the road.

A target golf course, quirky but fun, penal but fair to those who can keep it in play. No gps on carts, glad I took my hand held. People were friendly and the course played quite quick , 3 hours and 15 minutes riding early in the morning. I will be back even though it is a 60 mile plus drive for me round trip.

Gimmicky with strange holes, but well kept in a beautiful location. I recommend this course, but expect to encounter strange tees and green placement. Might be too weird for those looking for a round of golf on a traditional-style course.

Practice facilities - poor condition. Net to protect houses was damaged. Practice balls were really old.

Course - lots of unrepaired divots. Greens were terrible condition. Looks like a mower damaged #2. Oil leaks from mower on several greens. Many bunkers had little to no sand whatsoever.

Carts - old and outdated. Nothing modern about them at all. No sand or seed in the repair bottles. No score cards. Xerox copies of some previous scorecard was offered.

Clubhouse - OK food. Very limited selections in pro shop.

A fun layout. Slicers are in trouble on this course as most troubles lies to the right.
