Gypsum Creek Golf Course is nestled in the beautiful Gypsum Valley, it sprawls across a sage-covered mesa that overlooks the surrounding countryside. The scenic and challenging course is a Pete Dye and Perry Dye design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. Although it's still approachable for high handicappers, Dye included some of his signature challenges to keep it interesting for more advanced players. The rolling fairways are lined with native pinion and juniper trees and the undulating terrain provides a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. The golf course requires concentration, which may be hard with the stunning views of the Red Table Mountains from nearly every hole. Gypsum Creek Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 sixth. It's nearly impossible to reach this hole in two thanks to the prevailing winds.
