- Started playing Dos Rios back in early 80’s when my parents started spending many summers there. Continued playing while in college at Western and continue today! One of my favorite courses in Colorado. Front nine challenging and narrow. Back nine has many challenging holes, but both par 5’s are reachable in 2 if you are straight and feeling it long. Love the challenge of these two very different and unique par 5’s! Course has only gotten better with age and the course and staff are exceptional these days!a true hidden gem in a town I would like to retire in!Great Course that presents a lot of risk/reward. Front 9 and back 9 each have different personalities which makes the round more interesting. Well maintained by a very friendly and helpful staff make this a great place to spend the day.
