This is a great 18-hole executive course--mostly par 3s with some par 4s. It is perfect for beginners, for anyone wanting a quick round especially before or after work, or for anyone wanting to just have a fun, relaxed round. The course is always in excellent condition; the greens are fast and run smoothly, and their strong slopes can be quite challenging. Although I'm an experienced golfer and love the par 72 courses in the area, I always make sure to play Chipeta when I visit because everything about it is just so pleasant, including the great views of Grand Mesa and the Bookcliffs!
