Grand Elk Golf Club
1300 Ten Mile DriveGrand Elk Golf Club in Granby is nestled within the Middle Park region of Grand County, providing stunning views of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountain National Park. It's the county's only heathland-style golf course. The layout sprawls across a stunning landscape of lush, undulating meadows and the pristine wetlands that form the headwaters of the Colorado River. With low-lying vegetation and gently rolling terrain, the design was inspired by the inland golf courses of the British Isles. The holes offer plenty of variety, with some forced carries and tricky doglegs as well as some straightforward holes. There are more than 60 strategically placed bunkers of various shapes and sizes lurking beside the greens, but water hazards only come into play on four holes. Grand Elk Golf Club's 17th hole, a tricky dogleg left, is one of the course's most memorable. This risk-reward par 5 plays over both a lake and a vast natural area.
