It was a fun course when I played it the fairway was green and the greens where in great condition. Price is a little steep but it's close to my house. I really like lay out. Didn't spend any time at the club house. They don't have a real golf shop but I didn't come to buy anything, just play golf.

This is a very nice Golf Course and they give discounts to Military ID Card holders. They really are a much improved Golf Course and are in excellent condition.

Great lay out, mediocre condition most of the time. large pebbles in bunkers.
If they took better care of it, it could be a wonderful track.....too bad.
But hey, $35 with a cart, what can you say

Not a fan of this course at all. The sprinkler heads aren't marked, the only real indication of distances out are striped poles in the fairway.
The course puts out no drinking water on the course and the guys in the clubhouse and on the course act like they're doing you a favor to play there.
The lay-out is pretty good. There are some fun holes, but they over-charge for a course with minimal amenities. The fairways and greens seem to be hard throughout the year.
There are better courses to be played in Colorado Springs with better service and at a better price. The course is less than 5 miles from my house, and I play it maybe once every two years or so. For me, it's just not worth the money ($32 to walk on weekends), when you can play a Muni course in better shape.

One of my favorites in the Springs. When the fairways are green, it's a wonderful course. Sometimes it takes a while for them to get the course in optimal shape, but when they do, it's great. It's close to where I live and the price is right. It's more suited to intermediate and above golfers. There are some challenging shots across the arroyo.

Like most public courses in the Springs, it's a goat ranch. Had to play lift, clean and place because there is pretty much no grass on the fairways. Greens were ok though.

Worst golf experience we've had all summer. There are no fairways. They lost a lot of grass over the winter, but it's mid-Aug. and it's still showing little recovery. They planted plugs, but it looks just as bad as a bad hair transplant. Little green plugs in the midst of brown fairway. To make matters worse, they aerated and left big ATV tread marks in several spots. The greens are quite good, but the rest of the course is terrible.

Service matched the course - poor! They charged $17 for 9holes/no cart. The web-site says the rates are $15 and they charged the guy in front of us $11. Counter help was rude when I questioned the charges.

If you are golfing in Colorado Springs, there are several public courses that are much better. Too bad... this course could be a gem (in fact it used to be just that). The nice Phelps design is wasted on poor turf managers and rude employees.
