Four Mile Ranch Golf Club sprawls across a stunning landscape of gently rolling hills. The layout closely follows the natural contours of the terrain and doesn't use any formal bunkers, in their place are white shale ridges called hogbacks. They can range anywhere in height from 3 to 30 feet and they're not even the golf course's only distinctive feature. The layout winds through natural rock outcropping and a number of mini canyons. It's as challenging as it is scenic, though, with several blind shots and intimidating greens, none of which are more daunting than that on the memorable par-5 sixth. This tough green is obscured by huge rocks, testing not only your skills but also your ability to strategize. Four Mile Ranch G.C. offers a golf experience like none other in the area.

- Blind tee shot holes are a joke. Course is setup for painfully slow play. Mosquitos all day.Great golf course. No sand bunkers but collection areas around the greens. Course has been constantly improving every year since its opening. It is in great shape now. This is a "golf course" not a country club with fancy dining room and dance floor. This is the place golfers come to play golf for the aesthetics of golf. This is a secret which is being increasing discovered by the serious golfers. Fairly large greens; undulating not a pool table. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Denverites have found this course already.Interesting and fun course. Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities are unimproved with port potties on the course and no drinking water. Bottled water provided in your cart. Nice and wide fairways and greens from hell! If you two put your doing well. Marshalls did a good job attempting to control the golfers who had no idea what “ready golf” was. Other than slow golfers who obviously had to spend excessive time looking for golf balls that went OB, had a great time. Will play again.I have been playing this course for 2 years now. Bring a friend and have a "ball".This is one of the "hidden" gems in Colorado. Engh makes superb use of the terrain & change in elevation in crafting this masterpiece. This would be a great PGA, CGA stop as the greens are very difficult & force your approaches to be accurate. At the same time, it is very playable for the weekender. The views are close to rivaling the mountain courses & the price is affordable. Put this one on your list!!Awesome course, and GREAT personel. Was visiting from Okla and friend forgot his keys in cart, they met us there a couple of hours after closing so we could get his keys and leave early the next morning. Is the best layout and well taken care of course that i have played... LOVE ITthis course is a challenge and beautiful at same time
4 stars for meOne of the best golf courses around and the personnel are extremely friendly and helpful. We always enjoy golfing at Four Mile and taking friends down with us!You can't imagine this course until you have played it!!! It is nothing like you have ever seen! It is challenging and holes in which you have no idea where the green is! I recommend this course to anyone who would love to have an imazing time and experience breath taking fews while playing course that is simply amazing!!!!
